The camera captures 4K Cinema, 2.7K Cinema, 1440p and Full HD 1920 x 1080p video. It also captures 960p, 720p and 480p video as well. Plus, it supports NTSC and PAL, and it can record up to 240 fps. For still images, the HERO3 supports 5, 7 and 12-megapixel photos. The GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition Camera is 20% smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the HERO3. It also features faster built-in Wi-Fi than the HERO3. The HERO3+ is designed for recording a variety of adventure sports and it comes with a rugged housing that is waterproof down to a depth of 131' (40m). The camera captures 4K Cinema, 2.7K Cinema, 1440p and Full HD 1080p video. It can shoot 960p and 720p video as well. The camera supports both NTSC and PAL video systems, and it can record up to 120 frames per second (fps) when shooting in 720p mode. For still images, the HERO3+ supports up to 12MP photos with a burst rate of up to 30 fps.

The Sony HXR-MC1P is a unique HD camcorder designed for point of view (POV) camera work. Often referred to as a "crash cam," the HXR-MC1 is ideal for extreme sports, live relay/recording, shooting small animals or insects, or any other situation that would be difficult for conventional video cameras to capture. The HXR-MC1 comes equipped with an off-board tethered LCD panel that allows for instant framing and footage review. The camera's housing is splash-proof, making it capable of operating under adverse conditions without a problem. The ultra-compact, mountable AG-HCK10 HD camera head (POVCAM) teams with the AG-HMR10 AVCCAM handheld recorder to offer a low-cost Full HD camera recording system for a wide range of applications. Connected to the HMR10 recorder with a detachable cable, the HCK10 captures 1920 x 1080 high definition video using three 1/4.1" 3.05 megapixel 3-MOS imagers for recording by the HMR10 recorder in the AVCHD format, which provides double the recording time and higher quality than older MPEG-2 compression used in HDV formats.
